I'm looking for a new, larger capacity memory card for my digital camera, and am having to get all technologically-knowledgeable to work out what it is that I need, everything has to be typically complicated!
My camera takes an SD card, but my current card is only 1GB and fills up really quickly and I'm useless at uploading my photos to my computer on a regular basis, so I'm looking ideally for one that's 4GB or 8GB.

The only cards I can find online that are big enough are SDHC cards, which is confusing. From what I can see SDHC stands for Secure Digital (SD) High Capacity, so it should hopefully be the same thing and work with my camera.
They go all the way up to 32GB, which is amazing but a bit pricier than I'd like, I just don't understand why they have to give it a different name, is it just to confuse us technically-unaware?
